I saw her picture. She is still aressting but there is something about that first picture that I don't think will ever be recaptured. Just the moment, I guess.

Yikes. My cynic-meter is far too sensitive. Part of me is saying, "are they *sure* that's the same woman? The eyes are the same, but the nose and the jaw..."

Her irises 100% match. That's got a very low chance of missing. They were quite careful to do lots of work comparing photos before releasing the news.

I figured they would have, but as I said...oversensitive cynic-meter. Interesting how peoples' faces change over time. And how a photograph can create illusions about face shapes.

She was only 13 in the younger picture. Puberty and the teen years can change faces.

The main difference I notice is that in the later picture, her mouth seems to have fallen into a permanent frown. Her lips have lost some shape. It looks like she's had a hard life.

It's her jaw and the length of her upper lip and the shape of her nose that I noticed. And yeah. Hard, hard life, it looked to me.
