In other news:
Ember cat had her tail amputated due to an injury back in February and is still having phantom limb pain, so she and her meds are taking up a lot of my time and stress allowances. I had a good time hanging out with my girl tonight and playing Animal Crossing, though.

Oh, poor beastie! (And poor you!) Is the phantom pain expected to pass after a while, or is it too soon to know?

She had the surgery February 13, and they keep saying "two months" as how long it can take to heal. I didn't think it was that clear-cut for humans, so I'm a bit skeptical, and unfortunately, her pain has gotten worse recently. They're still sure that it's just phantom pain, though. I'm trying to be patient.

She had a very pretty long tail, and now she has a shaved stub that she HATES. It's really sad. Hopefully, the phantom pain quits soon, her fur grows back soon, and she will be a cool bobcat out catching baby bunnies soon. (She's a former farm cat, there isn't any keeping her indoors or making her less murdery.)
