Tiny flakes of snow blowing along, none of them even touched the ground that I saw, though one smacked into my cheek hard (like the tiny piece of solid material that it was) as I whizzed down a hill. I think I won.

Girl Scout cookies have arrived at work. So far, I have resisted the wiles of the Tagalongs and Thin Mints posing sweetly on my desk. I focus on their imperfections; one box is half a centimeter shorter than the other.

When the SO went to go buy GS cookies, they told him that they'd discontinued the lemon ones. WAAAH!

The boxes don't say what kinds there are. What are Ole Oles? I think I've heard of them, but I can't remember whether they were available here.

Oh, now, that's interesting. I can't find a list of the different kinds of cookies, but I did find out that there are different bakers.

<a href="http://www.girlscouts.org/faqs/cookies.html>Q: Who selects the cookie varieties?</a> A: Licensed bakers can offer up to eight varieties of Girl Scout cookies?; only three types are mandatory: Thin Mints, Peanut Butter Sandwich/Do-si-dos? and Shortbread/Trefoils. The national Girl Scout organization reviews and approves all varieties proposed by the bakers. Any of the five optional cookies can be changed every year. Each bakery names its own cookies, so Girl Scout cookies that are quite similar may have different names.</div> So if they get enough complaints, they should be able to change back, and a person might even be able to mail-order proper cookies from a more fortunate region.

Oh, I was planning on complaining up a storm. And rallying other people in my region to complain, too. Maybe there's some place I can order the Lemon Creams online...

Ole Oles are...they're covered in powdered sugar. And they allegedly have coconut and pecans. All I can taste is "eugh!"
