Thinking of dropping a bath bomb in the lake. Wouldn't work. Endothermic reaction. Very sad.

Also don't have one with, but that is beside the point.

You can find other fun stuff to do with large bodies of water.
Take for instance the fire department at my college waking up to Jello filled pool.
All that was required was a large comercial container of jello appropriated from the caferia and a small fishing outboard motor with a cold night.

There's always Alka-Seltzer... you'd have to buy a lot of A-S, but it'd be amusing for a while, at least. :)
