an upwelling at last

Tonight I felt like I was ready to sit down and make something, for the first time since the beginning of winter. It's a great feeling. I'm still pretty deep in my input phase, so reading won out, but if the creative impulse comes back during the weekend I might make stuff again! Yay! I'm giving credit to the longer days, though I suppose it could be my brain desperately trying to distract me from impending uterine pain.

Maybe I'll take my wire with me when I go to coyotegirl's place to play games tonight...

Yeah... ditto on all that. I've also found that until the creative stuff is ready to come out, there's no point in me trying to push it to happen. I've found myself sitting on the couch with a pad of paper and pencils, unable to draw, but wanting desperately to draw something. It's getting harder to put it aside and wait for whatever it is that I've got on the stove to be ready, but that's about all I can do. Darn my fickle Muse anyway. ;P
