Or you could learn about x-ray diffraction, and how it was used to understand the structure of DNA and other crystaline stuff. Or maybe play XXXenophile instead. Or both at the same time. Or you could take up Xenobiology.

I've heard that being a xylophonist can be quite therapeutic what with banging on things in a rhythmical manner.
Yodelling is fun and an excellent way to annoy annoying coworkers.
Or, you could look into zeppelin building. Particularly those made out of quartz. I think you might know someone with a theoretical idea about that.
