Happy birthday to myclaudia, who may or may not be reading. (Someone will point it out to her if not, I expect.)

I got wonderful email this morning.

Rain is drumming on the roof.

The plane crash was probably not terrorists. (Wish I believed that.)

I believe that it wasn't terrorists. Everything I heard from eyewitnesses on tv this morning made me think basic mechanical failure.

Of course, terrorists could cause something that led to that, but I've really got the feeling this was an unfortunate accident with incredibly bad timing.
