upsetting thing

Bat is having a hard time settling down today: meowing a lot, very insistently nippy (as opposed to his usual "what you mean i can't nurse here" bites), unable to show me what he wants.

I called the vet because I was worried he was in pain, and they said maybe, I could bring him in to get a pain shot, but it might just be that the tumor is making him feel weird, and travel stress would be bad for him. Considering calling the house call vet. So scared to do something wrong and leave him hurting.
