bad update is bad

Tests show that Dad had a heart attack, presumably yesterday morning, which is when he started having more trouble. His kidneys and liver are not happy in the least, and they've confirmed internal bleeding. He is intermittently conscious, but confused.

Mom couldn't find his advanced directive (ha, we needed more difficulty, thanks inanimate objects) but knows certain important limits, and I have texted her saying I love her and support whatever she thinks is best for him.

(She says her sister is on her way there, not sure if she's coming because I suggested it or if they're demonstrating sense on their own.)

I am attempting to make it through the rest of my work day.
