I identify as a cis woman because all of the gender expressions I want to make fall within the overlap of what's considered feminine and what's considered nerdy.
This should really be qualified: nearly all, and some stuff that would be fun I can't reasonably do with my body. Beautiful twink ain't happening. True morphological freedom nao pls, though I belong waaay down the priority list. Day-to-day, though, I'm socially approved for the kinds of presentation I want to do.
Also note that I am in Seattle, and I get looked at weirder when I wear makeup than when I don't, so that's a factor in my comfort level.
