Jul. 27th, 2001 04:27 pmStill having trouble getting to LJ, though not nearly as much. I don't trust it. I have decided that "open in new window" is my friend; that way I can keep my friends page open and still look at comments and links. (Yeah, I know I could change my browser settings so it doesn't try to reload every time, but I have to have it this way for a work application.) Probably a good idea anyway, 'cause it'll make the servers happier.
So, stuff is going on. Not much stuff. I finished my commission necklace, which turned out pretty well if not as well as I wanted it to. I had a time limit; the purchaser is currently somewhere in California attending a wedding, so she needed it by yesterday morning. It was seriously sparkly, so that was good.
I've felt more annoyed with the world in the past few days and have largely been hiding away at home and playing Chrono Cross. (I got the sucky ending when I finished it last night. I need to retry that.) Part of my crummy mood has to do with stress at work, which has been very busy, but I think a good bit of it is hormones as well, and some is probably lingering effects of illness. It's not often I'm too sick to work for three days running. I need to remember to call the acupuncturist again.
