workshop and hotel achieved!

jinianBecause almost everyone was delayed, I didn't even miss a workshop session; they moved one to after dinner and started later. And when I got there they had saved me stuff from lunch, and made me a sandwich and brought it to me during the talk, which was kind of insanely nice. Am I in The South now?
Also I think I have been awake for 33 hours. It is possible that I slept half an hour or an hour on the plane, but most of the uncertainty is that math is not so good right now. Am in my hotel room. Do not appear to have a roommate, yay. Will err on the side of shower-and-crash regardless.
In other news, totally unsecured wireless networks appear to be the order of the day in VA. (Hotel and cute tiny airport; university has more sense.)
