jinianBoy, did they underestimate that. Bruce Campbell really should have been a ticketed event... I got there at 6:20 and the downstairs of the U Bookstore was crammed. I didn't end up sticking around for the signing because I was too frazzled, but interested parties can read what happened to ![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
lithera. The half-hour that I did get to see (for some value of "see") Mr. Campbell was very amusing, and the fans were great. I was standing by a guy who had a chainsaw he could wear over his hand and wanted to get it signed. I hope they had a good variety of pens.
I was also reminded of just how great the U Bookstore is, especially in the SF department. They somehow manage to have a copy of Bridge of Birds on the shelf most of the times I go in there, and that's a highly esteemed and thoroughly out of print book. They also had pseudonymously authored books under the name of the actual author, and I found the book I wanted (new Tamora Pierce yay!) and several more besides.
