Once again I am a Malfoy. I heart my hairdressers.
I promised to photograph my outfit from the Janelle Monáe concert and then didn't post the pictures, so here behind the cut, including a necessarily silly pose, they are.
Monáe is known for wearing only black and white, so it seemed like a good opportunity to wear the great black-and-white skirt I got in the latest Wiscon clothing swap. Thanks, anonymous skirt donor!
The earrings were serendipity; I was going to just reverse my barbells so at least they'd be steel instead of lavender crystal, but I opened my desk drawer and found these pearls from the Philippines, a gift from our last lab manager. Yay.
Because the mirror's not full length, the silly pose is required to show off the shoes, which are possibly the best part. Via Spiga spectator shoes, $8 at Val Vill, my best buy ever. Even if I have to wear extra socks under the tights to make them mostly fit.
