food with a face, etc.
Sep. 2nd, 2010 03:03 pmFeeling very cheerful and restored after having delicious ramen with soon-to-be-grad friend M. Lots of stuff is really fucking hard right now, more than I realized before giving M a litany of doom (partial, and she still seemed kind of alarmed), but I have awesome friends who are supporting the heck out of me. And here are some recent photos.
First, from today: The pork in my ramen made a sad face! I ate him anyway. He was delicious.

Sky from yesterday, when I dared to bike to and from school. Lingering, painfully sneeze-prone aftermath despite cooler fall weather and recent rain, alas. But so pretty.

From the first day I dyed it, my current hair color and style. I wanted to use the last of the sun for the photo, but it washed out my purple a bit; there are random thick streaks and it mixes with the red toward the bottom. (Hair had been up in a bun, it doesn't curl if left alone.)

The sun also made me recoil from it, which was not so flattering, so no front view will be uploaded at this time. :) After its first wash this morning, I was surprised to find that the legacy auburnish areas seem to reject the purple rather thoroughly. The prelightened areas took the color beautifully, though evidently old box dye is harder to bleach than unmolested roots, opposite what I expected.
Posts still planned: bug pics (under separate cover for avoidability), trip home from Herbarium Foray, recent notable books.
