Some photos from my cousin's wedding yesterday, which was in a beautiful place. We will focus on the loveliness of nature rather than the "obey" vows, the name change, or that dreadful officiant.

Indian-pipe, Monotropa uniflora. It's a parasite by way of fungi that connect it to the nearby trees, so no chlorophyll at all. Neat stuff.

Sounds like a dreadful wedding, but I'm glad to see that the setting was nice... oy!

It's the one member of the flora around there that I didn't have at my childhood home, so I was excited.

The wedding could've been a lot worse, it's mostly just that I have grown to hate weddings.
