Random shots of a leaking hydrant on capitol square. They were setting up for a race of some kind.

Late afternoon view of the lake from the campus end of State Street. You can't see the smelly dead floating fish, but you can see the algae that also made it unappealing to stick my feet in, even as hot as I was.
I got really lucky with photos of a little duck family. The male was unattached, one of two who tried to bully their way into the group.

My favorite view of State Street near the con hotel. It's not all like this, of course, but I find it all charming and this is a good example of why.

Some kind of beautiful old airport light with reflectors inside. It was stuck off in a dim area on an upper level, though it should've been more dramatically presented.
