The drawbacks to working in the perfect place to see Independence Day fireworks have begun to manifest themselves. We are also, evidently, in the perfect place to be hovered over by a very loud two-bladed military helicopter. There is some conjecture that it's going to be pulling a flag behind it or something for the celebration and that it is therefore rehearsing. It was neat to see it up close the first couple of times.

It seems to have gone away for the moment.

Hey, at least its not the Blue Angels. I remember when they flew right past my building. It was cool, but it was also kind of scary since the building started shaking and the windows rattled so hard I thought they were going to break.
