jinianMy former undergrad intern has submitted an abstract to the university undergrad research event, and I have to approve it. She is all big research presenting girl now! (She still makes typos. We will discuss this.) I am ridiculously proud to be listed as her mentor.
But grr: This past weekend was utterly gorgeous out, the crazy grad-student recruitment weather we often get in February but combined with a mild winter that meant lots of things blooming already. Me, I had fucking bronchitis and couldn't go out at all without hacking myself half to death. I also had to cancel seeing my dad, lest I get him sick too. SO FRUSTRATED.
