Except for the part where I can't find my good gardening gloves and I freaked out due to bizarre advisor email, I am having a fine weekend. I'm very much enjoying Shadow Unit, and I discovered that, while bacon salt is reasonably tasty, the way to my heart is greased with BACON (and chives or something) BUTTER. Wha'happened with the bizarre advisor?

My weirdo participant contact problems cleared up some (in part aided by my newfound lack of caring as much), and today I ate foods from the Cap Hill farmer's market. Then I followed your lead and did mostly NOTHING the rest of today (read, napped, kissed on a girl some).

Maybe we could make some of that bacon butter in the home environment?

Just weirdness, she seemed to think that I would of course be willing to work during break and that I hadn't had a plan for money to live on this summer. Neither of these things is true! So I sent a nice response with my perspective in detail, she responded reasonably, and I'm feeling okay now. Not totally sure what's going to happen with work dates but she's seeming respectful now, the seeming lack of which was what freaked me out before. (Actually I might have been merely annoyed instead of freaked had she not basically said "you are doing a bad job of planning your own curriculum, and by the way you don't get any input into what will happen to you this summer." That was a large WTF.)

The problem with making our own bacon butter is that we would have to postpone eating the bacon! Oh, I may have some bacon bits in a packet, hmm.

Maybe we could have someone who DOESn't LIKE BACON monitor us. But who would be such a freak? Surely we must know vegetarian/vegans who would wish to help us?
