phd program? holy fuck! wow! i thought you were going for a masters, and here i was all impressed by that. wow wow wow! go you!

Hee. :) As it turns out, I don't really have the choice between the degrees. The bio department has awarded a master's while I've been on its mailing list, but there's no actual program for them. I think that, like I've heard about other sciences, it's kind of a consolation prize for people who don't reach the Ph.D. for whatever reason.
