They are too busy even for license plates. But they don't make me actively ill, so they're better than that whale.

However, I think that this is the best design choice. I am sick of quarters with 4 elements vying for less than half an inch of space.

Indeed, I was about to sigh in pleasure at the lack of crowding, but then I saw the horror they've put in place of the eye-ovoid and those awful cruciform reliefs. Have they never heard of actual native artists? We have them, I promise!

Someone's clearly thrown together a script to vote for #3. It's getting something like 10 votes per second right now. At 1:45 in the morning. That seems pretty unlikely to me.

... I am so, so bitterly dissapointed; I had thought that the Washington quarter would be "double-headed" - they'd use the profile of Washington on both sides. I was so dearly looking forward to that. Instead, we're gonna get "stupid ugly money." Yay us. *cries*
