My glee at answering that none were here seemed to be evident to her, judging by the annoyance I detected in return.

Speaking of annoyance, my emails haven't been going out from Drizzle since yesterday afternoonish, though I'm still receiving all right. Keeping my account there is looking less and less like a good plan. Anyway, time-sensitive stuff sent to me should give a phone number for response.

We're sick of getting all these women's opinions about Roe v. Wade. We'd like to get a better representation of the people who will really be affected by this issue.

Argh! As if you're not doing them a favor answering their stupid surveys anyway. I live alone, and whenever anyone asks to speak to "head of the house," I say, "There isn't one," and hang up.
