not actually life-threatening
Mar. 14th, 2005 07:09 pmLast Monday: Called doctor's office to make an appointment for late afternoon, which worked best Wednesday.
Last Wednesday: Left work at the right time, got downtown at the right time, but ran afoul of my crazy notion that northbound buses would run on the northbound side of the street. Missed open hours at the doctor's office by approximately 8 minutes.
Last Thursday: Called doctor's office, apologized, got new appointment.
Last Friday: Took different buses, as Trip Planner changed its mind, and got to my appointment on time. Scored prescriptions. Went to pharmacy, which was out of my required nose spray. They said it'd be in Saturday.
Saturday: Went to baby shower in Vancouver, WA, all day.
Sunday: Dug up some backyard and made a little rock wall with
hattifattener and
eub.
Today: Returned to pharmacy, which is STILL OUT OF MY STUFF. Managed not to cry. (It was kinda close, because Weeks ago--Now: Increasingly miserable even with prescription antihistamines.)
Tomorrow: The pharmacy claims they will have my medicine tomorrow. I'm calling before I go there again.

Date: 2005-03-15 04:17 am (UTC)gas: when you call them, if they do not have it, politely request the name and location of another pharmacy in their chain in town that does have it. no, no, you can hold while they go check. (i assume that you are dealing with walgreens or some such, and not the corner drugstore on this one.)
