hand badness

Ah, I forgot to mention: the pain in the fingers of my right hand, which seems to be actually improved by typing all day? Worsened by knitting. Dammit. I don't know that it's from knitting, but it scrapes nonetheless.

do you knit continental or do you do the wiggling the yarn around onto your needle with both hands thing?

being that i started out crochetting, i knit continental.

Usually I throw, which only involves my right hand last time I checked. If two colors are wanted, I pick one and throw the other. It doesn't seem likely to me that the arm motions would be what's bothering the fingers, though. They seem to get unhappy if I sleep with any weight on them curled, too, so I think it's just having tension on them that bothers them. I'd still have to hold the needle in any case. Maybe I'll try knitting Continental for a while next time they feel okay, though.
