election action

1. Made a twin-sized banner telling people when Washington's polls are open and how to find out where their polling place is. Hung it out on the chain-link fence by the off-ramp. (Was going to hang it down over the highway, but it required weighting and I couldn't make it safe enough to satisfy myself.)

2. Volunteering with Move On tomorrow from 9 to 5. Not sure yet what that involves, except not studying for my bio exam, but the election's more important.

3. Making a post about why the Bush administration is a disaster. This has been in the works for a long time. For an early look at many of my talking points, please see Respectful of Otters.

I remember you saying that before, and it's part of what got me off my butt to do this stuff. What exactly do you get to do?

verify that people are in the correct precinct, help them sign in, hand out ballots, watch the ballot machine and hand out "i voted" stickers. but not all at the same time. ;)
