The trouble with "honk if" is you can never be sure whether the other person understood.

I once saw a MAD Magazine cartoon on "The Lighter Side of Bumper Stickers"

Woman: "Look, honey, he has a 'honk if you love Jesus' sticker! Isn't that nice?"
Man: "It sure is!" *beeps horn*
Other driver, leaning out his window: "For Chrissake, if you wanna pass, pass! Just lay off the goddamn horn!"
