this week's political letter

Signed and commented on a petition against the Federal Marriage Amendment at moveon.org. I was tempted to send a fax to my Congresscritters instead, since those, being material, seem to have more weight than email, but I think adding a name to the petition is a good thing. Also, I'm pretty sure that my people are already against the amendment, so I might do more good as part of a mass to convince others.
