jinianCan't really give you an adjective on the news right now. I finally, two days after a classmate found out she got in, got a letter saying I was not accepted into the summer research program I applied for. So, we have:
Anybody got a word for what the news is? I need a similar one far too often.
- frustration about the notification system
- disappointment at not getting into a really good program
- relief at not getting into a 40+-hour-a-week job that starts before my finals are over
- renewed uncertainty about whether to work or flop this summer
- backed-up worries about money, going to university, etc. etc. argh
Anybody got a word for what the news is? I need a similar one far too often.
