The boy and the bird are both asleep in the room next to me. Now, I watch Cardcaptor Sakura and like it, but some things are too cute for anybody.

Is Carcaptor Sakura anime? Is that a dumb question? Could we rent some anime when I come visit? I've only seen a couple episodes of Ranma, and that was years ago.

Well, it doesn't look like we've seen Chobits v.6, since people are saying it's a series ender. (And yet there is a v.7... okay, it's just recap episodes and special features.) Have you seen v.5, do you remember? I don't think we should rush Hollie to the ending while we're still explaining who's who, so maybe we should -- oh hey, we could watch the recap episodes. Heh.

She does cuddle with him, though not when they're sleeping. There are cats in this house, and they like the bird quite a bit, so she has to be caged unless we're watching her closely. I bet you'll get to see the cuddling, though. He holds her close to his chest and cups her with a hand; she bites him only companionably for once. It's awfully sweet.

Yes, it's anime, and yes, we can certainly rent some. Or watch a bit of what I have. Or both. I am up for any amount of anime, provided we still eat and sleep some. :)

I can't wait to see the cuddling! So she's at home now? Does she go between the office and home or just stay home?

Wim's only working three days a week right now, so she comes home on the weekends and goes to Omni during the week. (When he was working every day she just stayed there, and he'd usually visit her once on the weekend.) So she is there now, but I expect she'll be home while you are, unless you mind being woken up when it gets light by a cockatiel who wonders where her flock is on such a fine morning.

Nah, I don't mind. I get woken up every morning by a small boy who wonders where his flock is. They probably sound about the same.
