tardy updating
Mar. 1st, 2004 09:03 pmFrom ages ago: Costumed wedding pictures. (How long have you been married now,
lirrin?)
From sometime last week: Stole/reclaimed plants from Eli's yard-as-was. A deep purple viola; a Fritillaria meleagris (if memory serves); some little creeping Campanula, probably portenschlagiana; a clump of the lovely white tulips that are all over that yard; and gosh wasn't there something else? Well, if so, it's not on the porch. There were volunteer snow peas, but they were awfully sad, so we were more bringing the pot.
(Oh! Eli! What happened to your bamboo? Does it need rescuing?)
From Saturday: Went to see the Flying Karamazov Brothers in their new show, thanks to the illustrious
kalmn and her boy. Realized I hadn't seen them since L'Universe, which is just wrong. Where was I when they were on the same stage with the Bobs, for heaven's sake? (And can I get a video of it? Scarecrow doesn't seem to have one.) Also: the program book says Ivan's poly, which I did not know. Neat. And it was a damned fine show, with wonderful Bollywood sections. Wim bounced afterward. I was more restrained, because my knees were being bad, but I was pleased too. Thanks, you guys!
I am more or less caught up on homework, which means I don't have to poke my eyes out with my Quicker Clicker. Yay!
Origami of the day: a pelican.
