end of quarter
Dec. 13th, 2003 08:09 amWell, I have until the 17th on my bus pass, but classes are officially over as of yesterday.
Already too booked for next quarter, dammit!: So finding out that Anne is going to be teaching physics 102 was only frustrating. (I didn't want her to get to teach it quite the way that it happened, either; the professor I like less is having a bad bout of pneumonia.) The class is still up against my next chem course, so there's no way I can reshuffle and take it. Oh well.
Surprising virtue in professors: The teachers are coming in on the weekends, all of them that I talked to. I don't remember this happening other quarters, but I guess I didn't have hard classes then either. The chem teacher will be on campus Sunday, too, even though the main building's not open. I'm impressed.
Done with homework: I finished the last homework set for chem in plenty of time before class yesterday (which is good, because I still had some molecular orbital notes to copy down). It really felt good. Lots of people are still finishing up this weekend, but I'm done except for studying, yay!
Holiday season of doom: Already discovered one double-booking for this weekend, and there's only more of that in store. My goal is to finish the most recent baby blanket's top this weekend, then the quilting soon after, so that it has a chance of getting there by the kid's Christmas Eve birthday. Also we want a live tree (anyone in Seattle have a good place to get those?) and there's still a lot of stuff-moving to happen before it can come indoors. And yet I feel less stressed out than by school.
