I think this second spring of ours is getting out of hand. There's an oriental poppy over on Wallingford that has half a dozen buds opening. (Maybe someone has treated Seattle with super-fertility spray. I also saw a bunch of vigorous new branches growing from the edge of a very short monkey-puzzle tree stump.)

Saw one tow truck towing another. Mating lock?

A flamingo near school was wearing a little yellow rain slicker and hat until today. I figured that was just what it wore, but no! For Halloween it is a witch!
