I'm a little annoyed by the Space Needle's current paint job, but it sounds like they at least thought it through a little. I suppose I won't complain.

My favorite bra has had a wire snap right in half. Fortunately, I am surrounded by people with interesting and occasinally useful ideas on what to do about this disaster.

The Secret Festival opened today! All I can tell you is that today's movie wasn't at all something I would've watched normally, and I really enjoyed it. I had a good nonspecific conversation on the bus about it, too.

Last night there was gaming at roobug's place, and we were all pretty tired. Also, we all had uniquely identifying initials. ( Here's what we thought was funny. )

"Is it hailing again?" I asked no one, then got up to see whether there were ice balls on the back steps. Nope, just hard little raindrops hitting the bay window this time. I think it's hailed three times this spring, once while we were in the awful middle of moving house. So much went wrong and so much made it okay.

It's just thundered again, for the third time this spring. (Normal weather is maybe once.) I hope the fact that it's evened up doesn't mean that we're done having strange weather.

(It is not spring any more, of course, but it is spring today. If the bearded irises are blooming this early, we're not having our seasons in order. It's not quite "hoary-headed frosts fall in the fresh lap of the crimson rose", but it's a little unnerving.)
