Last night I had birthday dinner at Wild Ginger, which is a wonderful Asian place in downtown Seattle. My parents came over and we had all kinds of wonderful food. I got a fairly nice candlestick from my parents, but [livejournal.com profile] hattifattener got me the really cool stuff. Not only did I get candied ginger and a burned import boot disk that would've allowed me to play Vib-Ribbon if it'd worked, but I am now the proud owner of a cookie press. [livejournal.com profile] elynne! Dude! We are making trilobites this weekend! *bounce*

So far this morning, I've found out several fun facts about the beloved (or reviled) Marshmallow Peep. I bought seeds for lemon catnip at PCC, where I also saw seeds for Echium (which is not listed as an aphrodisiac but clearly should be one).

I had a really fun conversation with [livejournal.com profile] hattifattener, who was kind enough to drive a dizzy clingy girl to work this morning. He said he'd been seeing a bunch of "Millions now living will never die!" bumper stickers, which I thought sounded like the Time Cube guy. He was pretty sure it was a Christian thing (and was right, though it appears to also be an album title), but couldn't remember the word for that thing that will supposedly make it so the millions don't die. I supplied "the Rapture" but then had to follow up: "You know, the Christian Singularity." Hilarity ensued.
Some of you may remember my nuttering about feeling creative for a change last Friday. Well, I didn't get to it until Saturday, but I did make something.

(And I meant muttering up there, but that is way too good a typo not to share.)
