The water heater's pilot light was out for two days, so I discovered that it is troublesome (but kind of fun this once) to bathe using water heated on the stove. Lucky for me the regrettable downstairs bathroom has a fully tiled floor with a drain. I just used the sink to keep the wash-water in and a hand towel for washing. Taking a shower this morning was much easier and less time-consuming, though.
