jinianMy supervisor arranged for me to get a carrot cake for my birthday because I like carrot cake and couldn't eat the last one we had in the office. (Walnuts, bleh.) So I have a piece of birthday carrot-cake-with-dried-cranberries-in. The flavors work very well, though we wondered if there weren't a prohibition buried somewhere in Leviticus about this. And I didn't even have to make pointed comments about how icky that whipped-lard frosting is on commercial cakes. Happy birthday to me!

*hugses* And I'm pretty sure that there's something in Leviticus about "Thou shalt not mix the gratings of carrots / with cranberries that have been dried / and if thou absolutely must / then at least don't put it in a cake / on a Friday," so I think you're safe. ;)
