I wasn't weepy about Oolong the bunny dying until today. Same thing with Selkie. I'm very glad I was late to work because of playing with the cats this morning. I intend to go home tonight and hug them all. (They are mostly very good about putting up with that.)

I was walking home from the floccinaucinihilipilificating bank today (I hate going to the bank, it destroys my writing energy) when I saw a pretty long-haired tabby mewing outside a door. She was mewing and mewing and looked quite distraught, and it was -15, not counting windchill, and there's a good bit of snow on the ground. I wasn't sure what to do, but she was looking at be pitifully, so I rang the doorbell for her. I didn't wait, but as I was walking off I heard the door opening. I wonder if they'll be asking themselves for weeks how she managed to reach up that high?
