What a beautiful rainstorm. I can barely see the outline of a barge in the bay, and the streetlight is bobbing like there's German techno out there. Most of the crows have found more clement places to be and fly straight when they need to go anywhere, but the seagulls are swooping and diving for fun. I wish my window opened.

Isn't it wonderful? It's like somebody turned on a giant shower over Seattle. Finally, the leaf litter mulch is being sent down the gutters to the sea, where it belongs. It's so cleansing. :) I wish I had an icon of somebody standing in the rain, looking ecstatic...

It has been pounding at the windows, trying to get in.

in fla we sometimes would go out and stand in it but even then, you get cold fast. once it rained really hard during a time when our water was out and I washed my hair outside.
