My supermarket sushi has no wasabi! What the hell?!

It's in the wasabi mayo the taster lady at West Seattle Thriftway was giving to people on Saturday. The thing is, she didn't bother to tell them it was spicy until *after* they'd taken a bite. Oooo, that pissed some people off.

Supermarket wasabi drama!

They're saving you from the horrible taste of supermarket wasabi.

Ah dear sweet Kylee,

I was just reading your website (clicked there from your Halloween photos) and I was so please to discover you also loved Omni and used it for collaging. I still have some of my Omni collage materials from what, like twelve years ago or something. If you come back to Portland and we're able to hang out, I can show you a used bookstore downtown (not the famous one) that has old Omnis for sale.

I miss Omni very much.

For a minute I thought you were talking about Omni, my and Greg's employer. Very strange image.

Yeah, I've had Omni The Company in my life long enough now that it felt really weird to write the word "Omni" so much in my post to Kylee. I kept thinking, "Do I have a typo? Is this the right spelling?" and duh, of course it was. It just sounds off in my head.

Better supermarket wasabi than no wasabi. Shame on them!

(I crave pickled ginger now.)
