I have just been informed by one of the children in the office (again) that my hair is green. "I know," I responded. She seemed to be expecting more than that.

I'd reply to something that blazingly stupid with, "And your point is...?" Or maybe, "And my eyes are brown, so?"

I would like to dye my hair a dark forest green, or maybe dark magenta. Sadly, it's frowned upon in the HR world.

Well, it was an actual child, probably about seven or eight. I do try to be nice to them, in a don't-talk-to-me sort of way.

I can't actually tell from here whether someone is bodily restraining you from visiting ICT, but it seems unlikely.

Well, no person was bodily restraining me. Just my own body. (Today was a sick day.)

Will your hair continue to be green? Do I need to do an immediate ICT visit for viewing?

I considered that response, but I don't think it cuts off conversation quite as effectively. :)

Hell if I know what they're doing here. People seem to think it's okay. I find it bloody unprofessional, though I mind a lot less if I'm warned (which did not happen yesterday).
