(I had a bit of a turn when Mike called me with the news, as Effinger shared a nickname with someone I know from elsewhere. So when Mike said "Piglet's dead" I had a bizarre double sensation of loss for a moment there. Thank goodness we have one left, though I am sorry we lost one.)≈
