le_merle rocks. I managed not to sneeze for a whole five minutes while reading his song parodies. The rest of the morning has not been great. Rumors of snow abound, but I'm not getting any, and the cold cold rain not only made my nose run but doesn't seem to have washed any of the tree gametes out of the air at all.

In news from the Appropriateness department, my new favorite graffito has been painted over. It read, "The beauty is the act."

I'm glad my peculiar brand of postmodern comedy could bring you a few minutes of respiratory relief. It was half-snowing this morning up in my neck of the woods, but it was too wet to be any real threat (and too snowy to clean out the air). I'm also glad to see you post again. =]

The three-day hiatus is not uncommon for me. My modem at home is dead slow, so I usually dial up to my shell account rather than using a graphical browser, and that means I don't get the wonderful fast servers for LJ. That takes care of the weekend, and yesterday I was busy trying to convince myself I was going to do work. :)

When I mentioned that I was working on Don't Fear the Beeper to the folks who inspired me to write it, one mentioned Sparc Sparc Baby, though I don't know if it was an explicit reference to a parody song or ad liberatum humour.
