Halloween is a good day to come back to work from being sick for three days. They have spiced apple cider. Oh, yum. The caramel apples are too much for me, but the cider is perfect.

I couldn't read anything I hadn't read before. I hate being that sick. My wonderful boyfriend brought me a borrowed copy of Final Fantasy 8, though. I made it to disc 2 in about a day and a half...

Catching up on online stuff continues. I can play games okay when I'm that sick, but online stuff is reading, see above. Bleah. The alt.poly situation is further screwed up by the fact that Drizzle's feed lost Thursday afternoon through Sunday afternoon, so I'm having to use my secondary news source. (It's because I referred elynne. I swear, this has never happened before!)

Yep, I'm an ISP, uh... what-they-called. Curse? Jinx, that's it. :) The best way to get an ISP to degrade rapidly in service is to get me to sign up with it. Worked with IO...

I didn't notice that the newsfeed was missing, but in retrospect it's an "Oh, duh. That would explain it." I was wondering why alt.poly seemed to have such an incredibly low volume for the last few days...
