statistically valid outfit sampling

jinianPossibly no one but me cares, but I felt that I was taking pictures of my outfits only on the days I did something special, so my sartorial proclivities were being misrepresented on the internet. Apparently this was terrible, so I took selfies daily for a month, and here they are. It also shows the evolution of my pink hair over time.
There are more dresses and skirts involved when it's not so chilly out, but this is a pretty decent representation of what really goes on.
5 November: I did something special! This is my Guest Lecturer outfit, demonstrating that Doctors of Philosophy can have pink hair (and amazing shoes).
6 November: photo thanks to M-pig
7 November: skirt from Somerville Goodwill has asymmetric yoke and pleat, I like it a lot; also, boots!
8 November: it started getting cold around this time, you can see the lacy undershirt edge as well as the long-sleeved shirt and sweater and PANTS PLEASE
9 November: photo by Wim (shoes were knee-high boots for warmth)
10 November: skull shirt!
11 November
12 November: necklace from Wiscon clothing swap
13 November
14 November: PI looooved this necklace set, which contains dyed skeletonized leaves
15 November: and then PI went bonkers about the pink scarf/pink hair combo the next day, wow

18 November: observe the nifty jeans that fit perfectly but unfortunately are named after an ethnic slur! bought used, at least.
19 November: this is where I got bored with looking cute or normal

22 November: this is not the side of the reversible hanten that matches my hair, it's the side I like better
23 November: in which I look like the night before had been rather more interesting than it was
24 November: BATS!
25 November
26 November: Seuss army knife
27 November: slouchy sophisticated sillyfaced
28 November, Thanksgiving: purple cardigan, navy-and-white shiny party dress, brown boots -- pic of me with two other booted cousins should be forthcoming at some point
29 November: PAJAMA DAY; no alien autopsies were occurring in the kitchen despite its creepy appearance
30 November: I knew the earrings were bluish metal, but they picked up the pink from my hair, too; pity you can't tell from the photo
1 December: also a pajama day, looked identical to 29 November only perhaps more smug
2 December: Twilight Sparkle and tiny braids
3 December: this dress is cut very nicely, but it's hard to tell because of the busy fabric even when I'm not all bundled up; got honked at on the street possibly due to legs
4 December: thesis present earrings from sillylillybird!
5 December
6 December: sick day, just pajamas and hanten
7 December: I wanted 30 outfits, so took an extra photo after I got back from the store today wearing the gloves I bought in Kyoto just about a year ago!
That was a bonus kitty there at the end for those who stuck it out. :)
