(Sorry I keep commenting on these! They are making me kind of homesick for Taiwan.)
I wonder if it's a space thing? I remember when we moved to Taiwan and how no one had ovens, which made baking cookies pretty difficult. I'm now super curious if places in China have ovens, since they have way less real estate squeeze than Taiwan and Japan (and Korea, though I don't know much about the state of ovens in Korea)?
