Yep. I went over and looked hopeful at Dwayne. He was amused and sneaked me into line. The funny part is that I did get it signed to Kylee or "someone else" because I wasn't sure which of the group goading me to get it signed it was going to end up with. Then when I went looking for people everyone had gone. I wandered off giggling, causing everyone, I'm sure, to think I was quite mad. Not that they'd be wrong.
Did I ever tell you about the Neil Gaiman signing I went to? It was a couple of years ago, just after my birthday (23rd June 1999, I think), in Brighton. For some reason, it hadn't been very well publicised, and all in all, there were only 8 people there. It was fantastic! Neil showed us the artwork from "Dream Hunters" which he'd just received, which was quite amazing as at the time, no one here even knew there was going to be another Sandman book. I took photos, but I've never got them scanned - perhaps I should.
Eeeee!
