jinianTaught first lab section today. No one denounced me as not knowing what I was talking about due to having been an undergrad only ten minutes previously.
Found out my proposed research is pretty unlikely to be funded on the grant I'm writing. Hmm. Change project? No one gets mad on this one if you do something other than what you said you would.
Attempting to schedule and wrangle into existence a journal club for first-years. Well, no one else was doing it, and we should. Being the big man is good but also MORE STRESS.
