Jun. 8th, 2001 08:08 pmIt's a very nice evening. Very, Very nice, in fact. I just got killed in Chrono Cross, but, you know, I sort of had my concentration messed with a bit by the telephone ringing off the hook (no hyperbole -- they can do that when they have two lines, the little bastards) all day at work. So, dinner. I needed protein after my excessive snacking at work today, so I stir-fried some chicken and fresh basil and garlic in olive oil and added some fresh chopped tomatoes. It's happy-making to eat so much garlic; I have just given myself an acknowledgement that I need not see or breathe on anyone for the rest of the evening. Yay!
Things I love:
Solitude. Discovery. Plants. Wim. The Fremont bridge. Creation. Reading. My senses -- sight and hearing are probably the most useful, and there are things of beauty to be seen and heard, but taste and touch are my major sources of sensual delight. The sun, the moon, and the stars, not necessarily in that order. My cats. Quiet. Clouds. Rivers, oceans, lakes. Northampton, MA, USA. Seattle, WA, USA. Flying over mountains.
Okay, I almost put "Canadian Coke" on that list, but not quite.
