I started this at Wiscon and finished on the way to the beach burn this past Saturday, which is why the above is a camera-phone picture with my lovely knees as a background. Someday (in a couple of years when she grows into it?) we may get a picture of lirrin's super-adorable imp girl wearing it.

I winged it, apart from swiping 4T chest measurements from other patterns, so I have only a little idea how to make such a thing again. The stitch in back-and-forth knitting is:

K across 2n stitches
P1, {YO, P2tog} to end, P1
K across
K across

Easy, rolls slightly, cute on front and back.

3.75 mm (US 5), roughly worsted weight but I have no idea how to judge yarn.
